Jag heter Anna och arbetar som förskollärare sedan våren 2011 då jag avslutade mina studier. När jag planerar aktiviteter med "mina" barn söker jag tips och idéer på andra förskollärares bloggar och förhoppningen med den här bloggen är att den i sin tur ska kunna inspirera andra.

Goldy singing

This is a fun way to get the children participating in the singing gathering:

I placed some of my song cards, upside down on the floor and put a goldy see through cloth over them, the cloth alone created a big excitement : )

Then each child got to pick a card under the cloth and we sang the song that the card showed. This was also a great opportunity to talk about what happens in the songs. In this way the children got to reflect over what the songs really mean and not only sing the words.

Animal singing

Today, before lunch, I gathered the children on the carpet to sing some songs.

It felt like the right time because they were hungry and we had some time before lunch would be ready.

To make it more fun I used our "Flano" board and some of our animals with velcro on the back.

We talked about the different animals; what there called, how they sound and we sang songs about the animals.

We sang songs about all of theese animals and when we sang the song about the jumping monkey's we also talked some math and counted the monkey's.

Really a great gathering and happy children before lunch!
